The city is wrong.
Most people cannot see it.

Cant is a location-based AR experience for Raven Prism glasses. Distortions appear where reality has fractured. Players who can perceive them resolve them, accumulate Attunement, and uncover what is underneath.

Distortions

AR anomalies visible only through Raven Prism lenses. They appear at specific real-world coordinates and persist until a player resolves them or they decay. Intensity ranges from 1 (fleeting, easy) to 10 (entrenched, resistant). Higher intensity means a longer gaze hold, a more dramatic resolution, and a larger Attunement award.

Story Fragments

Not every distortion carries a story. Those that do deliver a fragment: a piece of text, audio, or AR scene belonging to a longer narrative told in seasons and episodes. Fragments gate to Attunement level, so what you receive depends on how long you have been perceiving.

Clarity

The global measure of collective resolution. Six levels of Attunement carry titles: Attuned, Resonant, Perceiver, Seer, Ascendant, Architect. The Clarity board ranks all players by Attunement, worldwide. It is visible to anyone. Including people who have not yet begun.

Something has been wrong for longer than anyone can measure. The distortions are not new. They were always there. Only the means to perceive them is new. The question the game eventually answers is not what they are, but why you can see them when others cannot.
